DecisionRules

This Decision Flow automates the Return Merchandise Authorization process, intelligently deciding whether a return should be auto-approved, manually reviewed, or declined.

Solution components:
  • a Decision Table named Is Returnable acts as an initial filter, performing a simple check to determine if a product is eligible for return based on its product category.
  • a Decision Table named Return Decision evaluates multiple factors like the order age, return reason to determine the final outcome.
  • a Decision Flow orchestrates these two Decision tables: Confirms that the category allows for returns. After using a comprehensive set of data about the order and customer it determines the appropriate action. The final decision from the table is then provided as the output.
Use this Decision Flow, adjust it to match your needs and simply call from your shop system using a REST API
