How It Works

The application processes patient data through a targeted two-stage logic path to ensure protocol precision:

  • Demographic Filter (Decision Tree): The system first validates the patient against foundational Age and Gender requirements. This initial gatekeeping layer ensures the patient fits the broad demographic scope of the research portfolio before moving to more intensive clinical analysis.
  • Study-Specific Matching (Adjudication Table): For patients who pass the demographic filter, the engine applies sophisticated logic to evaluate the core clinical profile. It cross-references the patient's Diagnosis, Treatment History, and Vitals against a multi-study matrix. This results in a trial-by-trial recommendation of Eligible, Ineligible, or Review Required, complete with a reason code for the decision.
