Not every decision needs to wait for a synchronous API response. The DecisionRules Kafka Solver API enables asynchronous rule execution for architectures built around message and event processing.
Applications send input data to a Kafka request topic and receive evaluated results through a response topic. Correlation IDs can link requests with their results, making DecisionRules suitable for event-driven processes where decisioning needs to fit into an existing asynchronous architecture.
