What you'll be doing

  • Helping design new features and improve the existing ones in our application and product.
  • Taking responsibility for different parts of the app.
  • Working with your teammates to come up with the best solutions and giving each other code reviews.
  • Deploying solutions to cloud environments for clients around the world.
  • Communicating with developers from all over the globe.

What we’re looking for

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in development with Angular and Node.js / TypeScript, a few finished projects, and motivation to build more.
  • You know the basics of SQL.
  • You write clean code, understand design patterns, and things like unit testing and jUnit aren’t new to you.
  • You know how to design and implement REST APIs properly.
  • You’re a team player, you can communicate clearly, and you're not afraid to speak up when something’s unclear.
  • You’re open to learning from others — and sharing your knowledge, too.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Basic knowledge of Docker containers.
  • A technical university degree.

Tech Stack

  • Our app runs on AWS in HA mode with low latency from 10 global data centers, or on-prem in Kubernetes (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Backend: Node.js / TypeScript
  • Frontend: Angular
  • Communication: REST, Kafka
  • Databases: MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Document DB
  • Codebase: BitBucket with CI/CD pipelines
  • IDE: Mainly IntelliJ IDEA / WebStorm
  • Super-fast responses powered by Redis cache
